DZ PRESTIGE FOR CAR RENTAL L.L.C S.O.C (trading as dzdubai.com)
Publisher / Contracting Party
Minimum age: Standard & luxury vehicles: 21+ years; Supercars / high-performance categories: 25+ years.
Driver’s licence: UAE Residents: valid UAE driving licence + Emirates ID. Visitors/Tourists: valid home-country licence and an International Driving Permit (IDP) if the licence is not in English or Arabic, or if required under UAE regulations. Passport and entry stamp/visa page are required.
Additional drivers must meet the same criteria and be named on the rental agreement before driving the vehicle.
KYC / Verification: we may request passport/Emirates ID copies, selfie/face-match verification, and anti-fraud screening prior to release.
Process: enquiry/quotation → communication of the total price and booking advance payment → advance payment and booking confirmation → document verification → presentation of the vehicle and condition check → payment of the balance on delivery and digital acceptance (inspection report).
The booking is for the vehicle shown in the photographs, with its model, colour, year and specifications, rather than a category described as ‘or similar vehicle’.
In rare cases, an unforeseen event, such as a breakdown or an extension of an ongoing rental, may prevent delivery of the booked vehicle. DZDubai then undertakes to offer a replacement of the same model and colour, from the same year or a newer one, or an upgrade at no extra charge. Any replacement, including an upgrade, requires the customer’s prior agreement. If the customer declines the proposed options, the booking advance payment is refunded in full (see §13).
Electronic records & signatures are valid and binding for the purposes of these Terms and the rental agreement.
DZDubai may decline or cancel a booking in the event of non-compliant documents, failed verification, a risk of misuse or a payment issue. If DZDubai makes this decision before the vehicle is handed over, any booking advance payment received is refunded in full under §13.
Currency: all prices are in AED.
The total rental price is communicated before any booking, including VAT and mandatory charges. No additional VAT is added to this price at payment.
Rates include: a daily mileage allowance (see §7), standard insurance as described in §10, and vehicle delivery and collection across all seven Emirates, subject to the applicable minimum rental period (see §6). Flight tracking and adjustments to airport handover are also included.
Charges related to vehicle use are billed separately under the applicable conditions: Salik tolls, traffic fines, damage/repairs, fuel, cleaning and excess mileage. Optional extras requested by the customer, including insurance cover/options and additional drivers, may also be billed separately.
Deposit amount: depends on driver profile and vehicle category. Indicative ranges: Standard/Luxury: AED 2,500 – 5,000; Supercars: AED 5,000 – 10,000. Certain promotions/vehicles may be no-deposit for qualified renters; your booking summary prevails.
Method: card pre-authorization or refundable charge.
Release: deposits are typically released ~14 days after vehicle return (bank/PSP processing times apply), subject to pending traffic fines, Salik, damage assessments, and incident closure.
An advance payment, generally around 10% of the rental price, is required to book the vehicle. Its exact amount is always communicated before payment. It is part of the total price, not an additional charge or a security deposit.
Full payment is not required at booking. The balance, after deduction of the advance payment, is paid on delivery after the customer has seen the vehicle and checked its condition. Any extension must be paid in advance.
Methods: major payment cards; bank transfers may be accepted for prepayments. Cash is at our discretion.
Chargebacks/failed payments: you authorize us to collect any outstanding amounts (fines, Salik, damages, cleaning, late fees) from your payment method or deposit.
DZDubai is based in Dubai and works with rental partners located across the Emirates. All catalogue vehicles can be delivered to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Delivery and collection are included in the rental price at no extra charge, subject to the minimum rental period applicable to the vehicle and delivery location.
The minimum period depends on the chosen vehicle and its location. It may be longer when transport from another emirate is required. Delivery can be arranged at airports, hotels, residences, villas and other addresses agreed at booking.
For airport delivery, DZDubai requests the flight ticket showing the flight number to track the actual arrival time. The team adjusts handover for early or late arrivals, including arrivals delayed until the middle of the night, at no extra charge. Handover is coordinated with the customer leaving the terminal, after arrival formalities and baggage collection, at the meeting point agreed at booking.
Customers can drive across all seven Emirates and return the vehicle in a different emirate from the delivery location at no extra charge, provided this is specified when booking.
Daily mileage: 250 km per rental day (unused km do not roll over).
Excess mileage: AED 7 per kilometre for vehicles outside the supercar category; AED 15 per kilometre for supercars.
Fuel policy: Full-to-full. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, we charge the fuel difference at pump rate + AED 50 service fee.
Territory: UAE only. Cross-border travel is not permitted.
Prohibited uses (strictly forbidden): smoking in the vehicle (including vapes); drifting, racing, time trials, reckless or off-road driving (including desert/sand); towing, carrying hazardous materials, or commercial passenger transport (ride-hailing); use by anyone not named as a driver on the agreement; further lending or sub-rental.
Care of vehicle: keep the car locked, use correct fuel, follow traffic laws, and report any warning lights or issues immediately.
Handover inspection: an inspection report (photos/video) documents the vehicle’s condition at pickup.
Return inspection: damage not recorded at pickup may be charged to you (see §10).
Cleanliness: fair wear/tear is expected. Extra cleaning/valeting applies for stains, sand, spills, odors, pet hair, etc.: Standard valeting from AED 250; Ozone/odor removal (e.g., smoking) AED 1,000; Severe/biohazard cleaning AED 1,000 – 2,000.
Keys & accessories: lost/damaged keys charged at actual replacement cost + AED 150 admin. Missing accessories (plate holders, documents, toll tag, chargers, child seats) are chargeable at cost.
Cover: rentals include standard insurance (third-party liability and basic collision damage waiver) subject to an excess (“deductible”) stated in your booking/rental agreement.
Excess / Deductible (indicative): Standard/Luxury: typically AED 3,000 – 5,000; Supercars: typically AED 7,500 – 15,000. Exact amounts vary by vehicle/insurer and are shown in your booking.
Optional Excess Reduction (CDW/SCDW): if offered for your car, you may purchase it to reduce the excess. Exclusions still apply (see below).
Police report is mandatory for any accident, collision, vandalism, theft, or unknown damage. Without a valid police report, you are liable for all costs, and optional coverages may be void.
Exclusions (insurance may not cover): driving under the influence; drifting/racing/reckless driving; off-road use; unauthorized driver; hit-and-run / failing to obtain a police report; key inside the car with theft; misuse/neglect; using the wrong fuel; damage from illegal acts; tyres/wheels/glass unless specified by your policy.
Procedure in an incident: ensure safety, call 999 (police), obtain a green/red police report, contact us immediately, and follow our guidance for recovery and repairs.
Loss of use: if damage renders the vehicle unavailable, we may charge a daily loss-of-use fee not exceeding the daily rental rate, for the period reasonably required for repair/assessment.
This section concerns breakdowns occurring after the vehicle has been handed over to the customer. Unavailability of the booked vehicle before delivery is covered by the replacement and refund commitments described in §2 and §13.
Roadside assistance is included for mechanical failures not caused by misuse.
Replacement car: subject to availability and the cause of breakdown. If the failure results from misuse/driver negligence, towing and recovery are chargeable and no replacement may be provided.
Tyres/windscreens: punctures, wheel damage, or glass chips/cracks are charged unless covered by your specific policy.
Extensions must be requested before your end time and are subject to availability and rate changes.
Late return: 30-minute grace; thereafter 10% of the daily rate per hour, capped at one (1) extra day.
No-show (customer absent within 60 minutes of the scheduled handover): we may treat the booking as cancelled. Only the booking advance payment is retained, with no additional rental-day or delivery charges. This provision does not apply to changes in the arrival time of a flight tracked by DZDubai: handover is adjusted at no extra charge under §6. A booking declined or cancelled by DZDubai due to documents or payment is covered by §2 and §13, not by this no-show rule.
If the customer cancels while the booked vehicle remains available, the booking advance payment is retained.
If the booked vehicle becomes unavailable before delivery, DZDubai offers the replacement or upgrade options described in §2, at no extra charge and with the customer’s prior agreement. If the customer declines these options, or if no replacement or upgrade can be offered, the advance payment is refunded in full.
If DZDubai declines or cancels the booking for one of the reasons described in §2 before the vehicle is handed over, any advance payment received is refunded in full. This is distinct from voluntary cancellation or a no-show by the customer.
Where these terms provide for a refund of the advance payment, DZDubai initiates it immediately once the circumstances entitling the customer to a refund are confirmed. The time taken for funds to appear in the customer’s account then depends on bank and payment provider processing times.
After handover / early return: unused days are non-refundable once the vehicle has been delivered, unless required by law.
Force majeure: if events beyond our reasonable control prevent delivery of the vehicle (extreme weather, government restrictions, major incidents), DZDubai may offer a rescheduled booking or credit only with the customer’s agreement. If the customer declines and the service cannot be provided, the booking advance payment is refunded in full.
Salik tolls: tolls incurred during the rental period are payable by the customer and billed separately at their actual cost, on presentation of the official RTA statement for that period. No daily processing fee is added.
Traffic fines / parking violations: recharged at actual authority amount + AED 50 admin per fine. Notifications may arrive after your return; you authorize post-charges to your payment method or deposit.
Accident processing (if caused by renter fault): actual cost + AED 150 admin for paperwork and recovery arrangements.
You must immediately report theft or suspected theft to the police and to us. Failure to obtain a police report makes you liable for all resulting losses.
If the vehicle is impounded due to your actions, you are responsible for all related costs and rental charges during the impound period.
We process personal data to perform the rental, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
See our Privacy Policy for details on purposes, lawful bases, retention, and your rights.
Where legally required, records may be shared with authorities (e.g., traffic/police).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct losses up to the amount paid for the rental in question, excluding: loss of profits, business interruption, or indirect/consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify us against claims from third parties arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the vehicle.
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules of consumer protection.
DZDubai customer service can be reached seven days a week, from 8 am to 10 pm Dubai time, to answer enquiries and assist customers with their bookings.
For airport deliveries agreed in advance, handover coordination adapts to the flight’s actual arrival, including outside customer service hours and during the night, at no extra charge under §6.
